National Center of Public Health and Analyses, Sofia is a structure within the national healthcare system in Bulgaria. The aim of the institution is to protect the health of the population, to promote health, prevent disease and provide information for healthcare management.
In conformity with its main activities NCPHA examines the population’s health status, leads, controls, monitors and coordinates information activities in the field of healthcare, develops and unifies the medical and statistical documentation for the population health status and for the resources and activities of hospitals.
We operate with different national and international institutions in the coordination and performance of national and international programmes and action plans as well as in the provision of benchmarks for public health policy improvements.
